KADAR SENG (Zn) PADA TANAH ANDISOL YANG DITANAMI SAWI PUTIH (Brassica pekinensis L) DI KELURAHAN DEMPO MAKMUR KOTA PAGAR ALAM
Andisol soil is a soil resulting from the weathering of volcanic material and generally has high fertility. Zinc is an essential micronutrient, but at high concentrations it can cause nutrient imbalances and toxic risks. This study aimed to determine the levels of zinc (Zn) in Andisol soil and its relationship to soil chemical properties such as pH, Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), and Organic Carbon. This study was conducted on a field planted with Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis L.). The results showed that the soil pH ranged from acidic to slightly acidic. The Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) was moderate, and the Organic Carbon content was low to moderate. The available Zn content in the Andisol soil at the study site was categorized as very high. Regression test results showed that soil pH, CEC, and organic carbon had no significant effect.
