STRATEGI KAMPANYE SARING DARING SEBAGAI PROGRAM PEMBEKALAN LITERASI DIGITAL DALAM MENANGKAL HOAKS
The spread of hoaxes and misinformation on social media is on the rise and becoming increasingly difficult to avoid, particularly among Indonesian Gen Z, who remain vulnerable to such content. This is evidenced by Indonesia’s total digital literacy index score in 2023, which stood at 3.65 out of 5, indicating that the country’s digital literacy remains very low. This study aims to analyze the strategies of the Saring Daring campaign as a digital literacy program designed to counter the spread of misinformation. Therefore, this study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, based on the Nowak & Warneryd Campaign Model, which is analyzed in accordance with the campaign’s planning process and structure from start to finish. Research data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation related to the Saring Daring campaign program in 2023. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the “Saring Daring” campaign strategy has been effective and aligns with the Nowak & Warneryd campaign model. Digital literacy training also focused on four key aspects: digital citizenship, critical thinking, digital empowerment, and technical skills, which translated into cognitive, affective, and conative effects to effectively counter the spread of misinformation.
