STUDI KOMPARATIF PROFITABILITAS KEUANGAN BANK SYARIAH KAWASAN ASEAN
This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and Non-Performing Financing (NPF) on the profitability of Islamic banks in the ASEAN region as measured by Return on Assets (ROA). This research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis. The results indicate that simultaneously, CAR, FDR, BOPO, and NPF have a significant effect on the ROA of Islamic banks in the ASEAN region. Partially, CAR and FDR have a positive and significant effect on ROA, with probability values of 0.000 and 0.021, respectively. Meanwhile, BOPO and NPF have a negative and significant effect on ROA, with probability values of 0.000 and 0.013, respectively. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 74.48% indicates that variations in ROA can be explained by the variables CAR, FDR, BOPO, and NPF, while the remaining portion is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study. Keywords: CAR, FDR, BOPO, NPF, ROA, ASEAN Sharia Bank
