ANALISIS VEGETASI, KEANEKARAGAMAN DAN STRUKTUR MORFOLOGI TUMBUHAN HERBA DI KAWASAN CAGAR BUDAYA BUKIT SIGUNTANG SERTA SUMBAGANYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This study aims to analyze the species diversity, vegetation structure, and morphological characteristics of herbaceous plants in the Siguntang hill Cultural Heritage Area, as well as to assess its contribution to High School Biology learning. The method used is descriptive quantitative with exploration and line transect techniques through purposive plot placement. The results of the vegetation analysis identified 63 species of herbaceous plants, categorized into Class Magnoliopsida (38 species) and Class Liliopsida (25 species). The analysis revealed that the species with the highest Importance Value Index (IVI) is Asystasia gangetica (L.) T.Anderson at 14.58, while the lowest IVI is Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Roscoe ex Sm at 0.58. The diversity index (H') is 3.53, which falls into the high category. Furthermore, the findings show a diversity of morphological structures dominated by fibrous root systems (radix adventicia), cylindrical stems (teres) with smooth surfaces (laevis), and simple leaf types (folium simplex) with ovate shapes (ovate). Other dominant characteristics include acute leaf tips and bases (acutus), entire leaf margins (integer), and capsule fruit types. This structural diversity reflects the morphological adaptation strategies of herbaceous plants to the environmental conditions of the Siguntang hill Cultural Heritage Area. The results of this study are contributed in the form of an E-Booklet for the Biodiversity topic in Phase E of High School, which has been validated and declared feasible as a learning resource based on local potential.
