PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI MPASIPEDIA SEBAGAI MEDIA EDUKASI KESEHATAN DIGITAL PADA IBU YANG MEMILIKI BALITA

Maharani, Ameliya - Personal Name;

Maternal knowledge is one of the factors influencing complementary feeding (MP-ASI) practices. Conventional educational media such as leaflets and booklets still have limitations in terms of reach and, although frequently used, have not produced optimal outcomes. Along with technological advancements, the widespread use of smartphones as the primary medium for accessing information offers an affordable solution for mothers seeking information. Education regarding complementary feeding can be delivered through innovative mobile application-based digital educational media that are easily accessible. This study aimed to develop the MPASIPedia application as a digital educational medium for mothers with toddlers aged 6-24 months. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The application was evaluated through black-box testing and usability testing using the Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ). The trial participants consisted of 30 mothers with toddlers aged 6-24 months within the working area of the Simpang Timbangan Community Health Center. The results showed that the MPASIPedia application functioned properly based on the black-box testing. The material expert validation score was 81.8% (highly feasible), while the media expert validation score was 77.3% (feasible). In addition, the usability testing score was 0.98, categorized as excellent. The MPASIPedia application was therefore considered highly feasible as an innovative digital health education medium for improving mothers' understanding of complementary feeding practices in accordance with the guidelines of the WHO and the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
