This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of administrative services for Overseas Official Travel (PDLN) for Civil Servants and Regional Officials at the Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy, South Sumatra Province, and to identify the obstacles encountered. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation, based on Mahmudi’s effectiveness theory. The results show that PDLN administrative services have been fairly effective, particularly in procedural compliance and support for official duties. However, the effectiveness is not yet optimal due to delays in document submission, incomplete administrative requirements, limited understanding of procedures, and the absence of an integrated digital system. Therefore, improvements are needed through better socialization, coordination, and the development of an integrated digital administrative system.
