PENGEMBANGAN E-MODULE BERBASIS HEYZINE MATA KULIAH METROLOGI DASAR DI PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This study aims to develop a Heyzine-based e-module for the Basic Metrology course in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Sriwijaya University that meets the criteria of validity and practicality. The study is motivated by the suboptimal use of instructional media in the learning process, limited integration of digital technology in content delivery, and restricted access to flexible and user-friendly learning materials. These conditions have contributed to low learning effectiveness and difficulties among students in understanding metrology concepts. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model, which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The development process includes needs analysis, product design, e-module development, and dissemination. Data were collected through validation questionnaires assessed by two experts, namely a material expert and a media expert, using validity criteria as the basis for evaluation. In addition, a practicality response questionnaire was administered to 18 students as users of the e-module. The results indicate that the developed e-module achieved a validity level of 88.24% from the material expert and 94.29% from the media expert, both categorized as very valid. Furthermore, the practicality level based on responses from 18 students reached 93.33%, which falls into the very practical category. Based on these findings, the Heyzine-based e-module is considered feasible for use as a learning medium. Keywords: e-module, Heyzine, basic metrology, development, validity, practicality
