MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN MELALUI MEDIA MAGIC BOX DI TK KARTIKA II-1 PALEMBANGv

The problem of this study is the low language ability of children in arranging letters into words and forming simple sentences. This study aims to improve the language skills of children aged 5–6 years through the use of Magic Box media at TK Kartika II-1 Palembang. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 15 children. Data were collected through observation, documentation, checklists, and field notes, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques presented in percentages. The results show an improvement in children’s language skills from 68.25% in Cycle I to 93.25% in Cycle II. The implication is that Magic Box media effectively enhances language skills and supports more creative and interactive learning for early childhood.
