ANALISIS PERUBAHAN KEBIJAKAN EKSPOR PASIR LAUT INDONESIA KE SINGAPURA TAHUN 2023 - 2024 : STUDI KASUS PENGHAPUSAN DAN PENERAPAN KEBIJAKAN
This study analyzes changes in Indonesia’s sea sand export policy to Singapore during the 2023–2024 period after having been banned for nearly two decades. The study aims to examine the reasons for the reopening of the policy as well as the resulting impacts from economic, social, and environmental perspectives. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with an interdependence theory approach to analyze the mutual dependency between Indonesia and Singapore in international trade. The findings indicate that the reopening of sea sand exports is driven by economic interests and Singapore’s development needs; however, it also poses risks of environmental degradation and social injustice for coastal communities. Therefore, this policy requires strict supervision and sustainability-oriented regulations. Keywords: Sea sand, Export policy, Interdependence theory, Indonesia–Singapore, International trade
