BIAS GENDER DALAM PEMBERITAAN PROSTITUSI ONLINE (ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS SARA MILLS DALAM KASUS PA DI SRIPOKU.COM)

This study entitled "Gender Bias in Online Prostitution Report (Sara Mills's Critical Discourse Analysis in PA’s case on Sripoku.com)". The objective of the study was to determine whether there was a gender bias occurred on news texts regarding to online prostitution case, mainly in PA’s case. The theory used was Sara Mills's Critical Discourse Analysis. 10 news published on the period of October 26, 2019 to October 29, 2019 were analyzed by using qualitative critical discourse analysis research methods. According to all analyzed news text, it showed that Sripoku.com still enclosed or depicted female figures as a news object, so that gender bias occurred on the news written. It was also viewed from other dimensions included in the Mills's Discourse Analysis theory which are subject-object position and reader position.
