This study aims to determine the effect of parents 'self-efficacy on students' prosocial behavior at SMP N 19 Palembang. This study uses the ex-post facto method to find out events or facts in the field and to find out the self-efficacy of parents influencing students' prosocial behavior. The population in this study 320 students of class VIII with a total sample of 270 people divided into 90 students and 90 parents each (father and mother) obtained using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and parental self-efficacy scale. The analysis technique used is a simple linear regression research results show that there is an effect of self-efficacy of parents (fathers) on the prosocial behavior of students the results obtained are thitung > ttabel (2,496> 1,987). And there is no effect of self-efficacy of parents (mothers) on prosocial behavior of students, namely thitung < ttabel (0.131
