This study aims to determine the effectiveness of poverty reduction programs through village funds in Talang Buluh Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency. The analytical technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data used consists of primary data and secondary data. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. The results of the study indicate that the poverty reduction program through the Village Fund has a fairly high level of effectiveness and has a positive impact on poverty reduction efforts in rural communities. With the existence of this Village Fund, there are many village potentials that can be created in an effort to increase village economic growth and improve the welfare of rural communities.
