STRATEGI GURU DALAM MERANCANG DAN MELAKSANAKAN MODEL PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SOPAN SANTUN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PPKN KELAS XI DI SMA SRIJAYA NEGARA PALEMBANG
TEACHER'S STRATEGY IN DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTING THE MODEL OF MANDATORY CHARACTER EDUCATION IN CLASS XI PPKN LEARNING AT SMA SRIJAYA NEGARA PALEMBANG This study aims to determine the teacher's strategy in designing and implementing a model of character education in Civics Class XI learning at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Saturated sampling technique using purposive sampling technique and data collection techniques through documentation, observation and interviews. The population of the study was 12 people, which were 3 PPKn teachers, 8 students and 1 person checking the Curriculum. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the teacher's strategy in designing and implementing a model of polite character education in class XI Civics learning at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang obtained the results of the polite attitude of students being good, but there are still some of them who violate activities at school. The teacher's strategy is through habituation which is carried out by implementing school cultural activities, learning activities and extracurricular activities. In the form of greeting, praying, maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment, discussing methods, communicating to students so that they are really exemplary and familiar to students from these strategies, students are accustomed to doing it.
